Bad324
Been offered a '85 Virago 750 with a 920 carb that was recently rebuilt. It has newer tires, new brakes. It only has 10,000 miles on it supposedly and the pic he sent me is a bit small to see anything in detail. What's it worth? Also, would it make a good candidate for any type of unique build or transformation?
Tpoppa
$700 if it runs.

Bad324
I woulda most likely flipped it if it was worth $1500-2000.Or if it was a decent base for a transformation type build I would've considered that as well. But since neither apply looks like it's not worth my time

scottb
I think almost any bike that runs, idles, shifts, stops and is streetable is worth at least $500- $1200.That one is just old, and nothing special.
Pokey
Perfect bike for a beginner rider though.
Bad324
Next bike up for what's it worth: 2003 Ninja 250 with 16,000 miles
Tpoppa
Next bike up for what's it worth: 2003 Ninja 250 with 16,000 miles What's the condition. That's a pretty likely bike to have been dropped a few times by a beginner.

Bad324
Think I'd sit on it long at $1800 if it's in good condition? Well come spring, I imagine I'd end up having to store it for winter alongside the VFR since it's not going anywhere
