I Need a new headset...

...to replace what I have.

 

The Chatterbox works like a champ, but the hard wired headset(with mic) has issues....I have plugged in the headset directly into the phone, and have the same sound issues.  But when I plug in my good headphones into the chatterbox, it sounds awesome.

 

So where should I start looking for a new headset?

 

Amazon is not helping me out, and I am not looking at spending a boatload.

to a passenger, listen to the radio/MP3 player, use CB radio, hear radar detector,

and place and accept phone calls.  

 

Is all this even possible?  I forgot about GPS, also.

I think it possible with Sena but other optional accessories would be required. Sounds like too many distractions for me. I like my 2 way, mp3, and ability to take a call if needed. I'll use gps though my phone too if needed but in getting ready to mount a larger screen Garmin where I won't need the sound

I agree with Jerry, for all of that you need a JM unit. The CB will be the hard part with the units we suggested previous to knowing all your needs. I know lots of folks that have the unit he linked to and it works very well and lasts forever.

 

And to hell with Chatterbox. Once the standard of the industry they have not upgraded their stuff in a decade. They are old school, even older school than I am.
