Calinazaret
I can't begin to think of a motorcycle shelter without my mind just taking off.I have to ask...What do you want that shelter to do for you and your bike?.I never thought about electricity but that's true. I would like a light bulb and some space to work. I plan on taking my current novice level tinkering to more in depth mechanical expertise with this machine and I'll need a comfortable space to do it in. Hmm. PhilD'oh!
I have a 10x12 I built 10 years ago and it still isn't big enough...then again, I have a bike addiction. These things always seem to cost a bit more than anticipated too. Mine has a "skid" foundation with a pressure treated floor. Any bigger than that and I would need a "rat wall", check your local codes. It's all wood with T1-11 siding so I have the illusion of security. Truth is, with all the lithium powered tools out there, anyone can cut their way into your house or shed in a matter of about a minute. I drilled a hole in each side of the door hinges and latches and installed a lag bolt in each, also for added false security.Lately, I've been considering getting a solar panel power outfit from Northern Tools for a couple hundred bucks. You can run lights, charge batteries and run other stuff with this set up.
