Mary#17
Ok. So I bought a new jacket and couldn't resist buying the white version of it. Well now I'm freaked out as to how I can even remotely keep this thing clean. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

MidgetTodd
Nice choice though. I just bought a mostly white storm trooper looking suit for this race season too. White leather is pretty baller Edited May 2, 2014 by MidgetTodd
Mary#17
Hey! it's cooler than black leather. Strictly talking temperature of course. I like your suit. I had a lot of white on my leathers as well and you would think that would've deterred me from buying a white jacket but it didn't.

MidgetTodd
I have used bleach white from the auto parts store with good results.Really?I would thought that would be hard on the leather. Isn't it corrosive?

Tpoppa
Leave them in the closet if you want it to stay clean. I kinda like when gear looks like it's been well used.

Mary#17
Well, I might as well never wash my bike either then? I've never understood why some people feel washing or having something clean is a bad thing..............

speedytriple
I have used mink oil on my leathers to clean grime off of them they are mostly white and silver. And they are much nicer when the sun is blazing then dark colors.

Tonik
Warm water and a mild soap and a soft rag. One of those Mr clean magic eraser things for the tough spots. Leather treatment of your choice afterwards.

e-flores
I have been trying to find a solution that cleans the white on my jacket, I've tried every leather conditioner out there. Nothing really cleans the white once its dirty. Keep it clean with the lexol. I know a lot of people who have had good results with it. You have to stay on top of it though to keep it clean.
