The datacenter where our server is hosted has been having some problems today.

They had a main power grid go out this morning. That's why the website was up and down earlier today.

Then about 30 mins ago, the database crashed. Not sure why, probably had to do with the earlier problems.

But it seems to be back up and running normally now. If it goes down again, don't worry, it'll be back up.

That's what you get for hosting it on a server at work!!! :missing:

Now I know what happened to the old IBM boxes.......

:flingpoo:

Now move them to the new hardware in the computer room, and quit messing around with the old stuff. :thefinger:

I don't know what you're talking about man, I've got this shit on the P590! Hahahaha!!!!

not i.

it used to be slow as molasses for me, but after satan updated, its been fine for me.

That seems to be the general consensus among everyone I've asked.

ChrisOH? Has it been constantly slow, or just during certain times? Any other websites giving you the same problem? For testing, fire up www.cnn.com and see how fast it loads. If it loads slow also, you may need to reinstall Java. Also, try clearing out your temp files and cache. If for some reason a cached file is corrupt, it could cause this problem also.

If you had this site on there, then at least that new hardware would be doing something useful.

Aren't there a couple blades sitting around doing nothing?:woo:

Since I'm not there anymore, downloading porn:sheepfucker:, there should be a considerable amount of bandwidth and SAN available for Ohio-Riders.:tmi:
