zeitgeist57 Posted June 11, 2005 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 After a sucessful eBay blitz a few weeks ago, I just finished putting on: Russell SS brake lines ($89 shipped, eBay) Rotorpros Cross-drilled/slotted rotors ($260 shipped, eBay) Satisfied GranSport 6 pads ($70frt, $52rear, TireRack) HOLY SHIT...I can't BELIEVE I drove my Vette for so long on old/worn brakes. All the rotors looked fine, but the pads were all half life or less. The thing truly stops on a dime now. I slammed on the brakes at 55mph during break-in and I came to a complete, non-dramatic stop in a millisecond. Please, everyone...it ain't cheap, but be sure to get you some good brakes for your ride if it's been awhile. Now, stopping is almost as much fun for me as GOING! My car stops a lot better. btw if anybody looking for cheap rotors try out www.r1concepts.com The have slotted, drilled,blanks for really cheap.
