If it's in good working order, yes. I don't know what a Zex soleniod is worth.

you can connect it to 12 VDC and it should click. (open) That will atleast let you know if it works, To see if it leaks, you need some nitrous.

I thought Zex put their fuel and nitrous solenoids in the little purple boxes. I would assume that it is a purge solenoid. I would check with zex.

If he is using it as a purge it will work. A purge is just a basic soleniod. Actually you can use an old fuel or nitrous soleniod, doesnt matter, they all work the same..

GM owned Geo, and I don't hold that against them.

 

Most companies are just owned by a larger company. But ZEX is the ricer's choice in nitrous brands (sorry, NAWWWSSZZZZ or NOS for the idiots). Way too many good brands out there to be a ZEX supporter.
