I saw on one of the car shows, I don't remember which, they took an early 60's Impala and installed a bolt-on air ride kit. They were able to pull much better times and MPH through the slalom. It's nice to be able to adjust your ride height and how hard it is, but it's far more expensive than going the traditional route.
