Specifically bred for hunting down badgers, digging out there holes enough to invade, and killing them. I guess because of all the specialized breeding necessary to get them to look they way they do, they are prone to a lot of that kind of stuff. Anyway, I hope your dog remains healthy and happy. A registered breeder with references and plenty of knowledge should be your primary option. They are much cheaper directly from the source anyway. He will be 6 months in a week and he is the sweetest dog.
