Earl1647545488
I'm using the money to upgrade my Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2. Putting in a new video card and more memory, plus an external TV Tuner and external hard drive since I'm losing that with this laptop. This laptop doesn't get much use. I mainly use it to record TV, and I watch it from my other laptops throughout the house.

Earl1647545488
Thanks for the bump, man. That is correct, when I bought this laptop, Clevo, a manufacturer in Taiwan, was making laptops for Alienware, Sager, Prostar, Voodoo PC, Hypersonic, and more. Since then Alienware has gone with Uniwill last I heard. Dells, HPs, and Compaqs are made by Quanta. The last company that made some of their notebooks in the US was IBM, but now they've sold that division to Lenevo. Clevo is a nice manufacturer, they came out with an SLI laptop.
