where did all the ghetto flea markets go?

does anyone else remember in the late 90's there was a ghetto flea market at Northern Lights? I try not to go into that area of town, but it is gone! This place was the greatest, you could buy everything from high end stereo stuff, to fake purses, to knives, to you name it someone was selling it. do places like that still exist? where?

US 23 N, just north of marion there is a good sized flea market. Also, IIRC, on US 23 just south of Chilicotthe I belive I saw one.

We used to run to Mid State fasteners down off Alum Creek, next to the BFC. There would be impromptu flea markets set up in abandoned lots down there all the time. Crazy shit, kids bikes to carpets and drapes.

Wonder where all that stuff came from?

I know there is one off 71 a couple exits before the exit for Kings Island. My friend goes down and sells stuff about every 2 weeks.

Ceasar's Creek Flea Market. They are pretty hit or miss there, sometimes you get really good deals, othertimes it's nothing but Disney VHS tapes recorded from DVD.

West Broad, get off 270 make a left and go down a block or two, its on the left. Theres a huge sign that says Flea Market.

 

It's not left no matter which direction of 270 you are coming from. If you are coming from the north (hilliard/dublin), you'll get off at the second exit and it loops around and makes you go east on west broad. If you are coming from the south (grove city), it's a regular exit and you'll go right to head east on west broad. Then you are right, it's on the left (north) side of broad street. I made a wrong turn trying to head somewhere around there last weekend and the quickest way for me to get turned back around was to head through there, or so I thought. It was PACKED.
