Guest ED6vtec Posted February 20, 2007 Report Share Posted February 20, 2007 bought a bike last month and just saw this bike forum, figured i post up some pics. http://www.5ccreations.com/images/bike/mine/100_8110.jpg http://www.5ccreations.com/images/bike/mine/100_8107.jpg http://www.5ccreations.com/images/bike/mine/100_8115.jpg i bought it new (its an 06 model) with 0.4 miles on the clock. it now sits in the garage with around 250 miles on it if i remember right. its all stock minus it now has CF clutch and stator covers. the only plans are to ride it for great gas milage and some fun. mods wise, im not really planning on modding it except for maybe an exhaust. doesnt really get too many gains from bolt ons, so i will be going for what i like the best (sound wise). maybe, a K&N filter and commander pro later down the road. just a bike for me to enjoy, its my first. I noticed you said that it's your first bike, just make sure you take your time while getting used to the bike and you'll have a great ownership experience. Have fun. GRN96WS6 Posted February 20, 2007 Report Share Posted February 20, 2007 I just got a used well minorly used 06 R6 on Saturday for $7500. IT only had 469 miles on it and came with an ex warranty until 09 and a cover and lock. I don't have any pics yet though. Nice bike they are lots of fun. Guest ED6vtec Posted February 21, 2007 Report Share Posted February 21, 2007 thanks guys, im actually joing the forums right now (satan sent me a link to OR.net) yeah, its really comfortable. i rode an R6, ZX6R (02 and 06) and so far the CBR is the most practical for me to daily ride. it might not be the fastest bike, but its def. fun.
