snredrum
They Hyosung is supposed to be an awesome company. I believe Motorcyclist magazine had something last months about them. Some other forums have said they aren't too bad.

cptn janks
i dont think they'd be a terrible bike to learn on by any stretch of the imagination. but how available are parts and stuff like that? thats why id still stick with the real ninja. 31rx7
Adventure Cycles in Grove City sold the Hyosung (also branded United Motors) bikes. Hyosung makes components including some of the small bore engines for the big makes and have been around awhile. They supposedly are decent bikes, essentially knock offs of various bikes. I believe they also make a 600cc bike, a cruiser style. Not sure about getting parts down the road though. Personally, I would just buy a nice used bike. There are tons of 250cc beginner bikes out there.
