AJ
picked up a wrecked 2002 Camaro SS 6-speed with 28,000 miles. has stage 2 ported heads, LS6 intake and a bigger cam. threw down 399 at the wheels so its not a bad start. kinda ironic that its taking the last year the camaro was built to finish the first year the camaro was built. here is what it looked like when i picked it up http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/IMGP0995.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/IMGP0997.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/IMGP0993.jpg more pics to come. Big A
Going to be selling any parts off of it?
AJ
there is alot of parts that are still in good shape i can't use, the engine/transmission is going in the 67 along with the dash, seats, consol. i think the rear end is sold. i'll be posting stuff up for sale off of it in the next month or so once i figure out what all i'll need. the cage is no longer in the car, once i get the dash and seats in i'll build a better fitting one. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/camaro002.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/CamaroAJ/camaroft.jpg
2 Sweet
Sad that such a sweet car was wrecked like that, but sweet to see that the engine/tranny and other stuff will be put in the '67. Nice pickup with the donor car and good luck with your '67!
Bam
Are you going to keep it efi or go carb'd with it? I know they make a kit for the carb setup and some of the guys that are putting it in the car i'm building have had good luck with it. AJ
oh no we be keepin the EFI for sure. easier to support and tune FI with;) . sucks for the guy that i got the car off of because he didn't have full coverage on the car at the time. but it works out to be the best doner car now, parting it out should pay for all the swap parts i need to make everything fit. i worked on it for a few hours last night and a few on sunday so i'll get some pics of what it looks like now, pretty much picked clean from the firewall back so far. AJ
I think two big turbos with look great next to that engine in that car think small....think almost zero and up to 1100 horse.....think TO4E. but i don't know if thats what i'm going to do anymore, it might become a Magnacharger! we'll see how much i can get the turbo headers for and what not. and its a LS1 so i don't think it will live that long with that much power haha.
