Patrick
Picked up a new car friday, brought it out tonight to QS&L for dinner. It's a 1985 Dodge Omni GLH-T, 2.2L 4cyl with a little Garrett T03. Runs pretty good but needs a new o2 sensor, going in later today. The previous owner replaced the: Turbo, Transaxle, clutch, water pump, timing belt, and 2 new injectors, and a head gasket. Overall, it's in pretty good shape for it's age and its seeming neglect, I'm guessing it was kept outside for a while. The paint sucks, but it has 88,000 original miles on it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/clbsinvaders/Omni%20GLHT/DSC02426.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/clbsinvaders/Omni%20GLHT/DSC02425.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/clbsinvaders/Omni%20GLHT/DSC02424.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/clbsinvaders/Omni%20GLHT/DSC02423.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/clbsinvaders/Omni%20GLHT/DSC02422.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/clbsinvaders/Omni%20GLHT/DSC02420.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/clbsinvaders/Omni%20GLHT/DSC02419.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/clbsinvaders/Omni%20GLHT/DSC02414.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/clbsinvaders/Omni%20GLHT/DSC02405.jpg

Patrick
Thanks, it's been running terribly, i hope the o2 sensor will fix that. I checked the codes last night, and it said alternator was less than 11.70 amps, so it was changed this afternoon.

But he tells his buddy to vow of silence in regards to the loss. 4th gens do that against bucky. You bringing it to whempys? I want to check her out. 31rx7
Let me know if you are going to autocross it. I am fairly familar with set up. Also, brush up on your diagnostic skills. These old ones can be prone to electrical gremlins. Bud's Dad.

These old ones can be prone to electrical gremlins. Bud's Dad. I've checked the codes, but it's still throwing at me that it's "LEAN AFTER 12 MIN" or something like that. I still need to investigate it. Working on it more tommorrow. It seems to miss a lot on cyl #3, I HOPE it's the plug wires, I opted for the cheap ones and I hear they screw up a lot. I will bring it to at least one event (I'm aiming for late July/early August) and it will be in E Stock just like the GSL-SE!! Awesome. my buddy mike has a red OMNI GLHT we should get together one night and he can show you a few "free" tricks to the car That would be great!! Thanks for the comments everyone, it's been a fun car as well as a PITA in the weekend I've had it. Tommorrow I start eliminating rust and sanding for paint. Pics will follow. thorne
I would see if you can find someone who has a wb thats not mounted. Find out if it is running lean. Also do a pressure test across the board. I've never had plug wires that bad off but Always double check the sparkplugs. Nice ride I can't wait till you start getting play around in it. Jelloman4571647545499
these things are notorious for codes and engine trouble. All I can say is if you have trouble join http://www.turbododge.com. There are a bunch of issues over there that the guys can and will help you with. In counting I have owned 5 TurboDodges and all were a blast. They are cheap and easy to build and very fun.
