A buddy wants rid of a car in his driveway that he got from family. He is wanting to sell it to me for cheap. Its a 1974 amc hornet wagon with a straight six. 74000 orig miles. Don't even know if its worth my time. Here's what it looks like, not actual car though.

I would have to punch you in the urethra.

It could be a super-sleeper.. but for way more money than doing another fox in the long run. Yes, that would be just another Mustang... but it's a hole lot less gay than that abomination. Besides, then you could be mistakenly grouped in with the AMC Boys.

$100 would be ok to use it for a hauler/rolling dumpster/demolition derby car.

The unfortunate thing about AMCs is that they rust badly. Even if you had a solid frame, I would bet that you could not remove half of the suspension or engine mounting bolts without cutting or shearing them off. They also do not make replacement or aftermarket parts for these cars so anything that you may need will have to be salvaged from an Arizona car.

things you could do with $100:

-Reinvest in our dead economy, do your part to bring back the dollar

-get a good blowjob from a good hooker

-get 10 bad blowjobs from 10 bad hookers

-2 tanks of gas

-a couple grams of cocaine (not that i know market price or anything.....)

-turn it all into dimes and take a bath in it

-give it to me so I can do any of the above

-put it in the bank and earn interest

-invest and earn shitloads or lose it all

-roll a fat blunt with it, dip it in formaldehyde, smoke it, then hallucinate yourself into a world where you weren't dumb enough to consider investing in a cheap shitmobile like that which will only end up costing you more money

Reminds me of this bad boy:

1973 TOYOTA CORONA MK II Wagon

On airbags, 2J swapped and haggard as fuck.. but the oil cooler just doesn't fly on this whip.

Overall I think it's hottttt, I'm all for the sleeper wagons like this one.

Lets see...its a 74 and does not look like its been taken very good care of and still looks repairable....your analysis is unfounded......My dad and uncle's have restored many old muscle cars and so have i, and they were not AMC's and they all rust the same, its how you take care of it........if these cars and others were undercoated properly when bought new, there would be a ton more old muscle cars around...

Your right on having to find used parts or patch them if possible....
