Dr. Pomade
Anthony, car looks sick. White is the fucking hottness. yea, that does suck. IMO black looks the best, when it is clean, but the second it gets a bit of dust or dirt, or paint swirls, or scratches, it shows and looks bad. White on the other hand looks very good clean, and can hide things much easier to maintain a 'clean' appearance. Agreed completely.

Diamonds
looks good. I'm a fan of the black wheels on white cars keep the headlights white! there is going to be alot of irony in my reply. please don't get offended. White cars: Are amazing, they look great when they are all shined up, they are classy, and work perfect with just about any factory interior color. Black wheels on white cars: Are cool, nothing new, but cool. I feel as though, too many times people opt for black because they are afraid to go with a "horse fo a different color" because they feel that it may stand out too much and possibly be mocked. (See figure 1) Truth be told.... silver is the new black.(see figure 2 & 4) Black wheels with a polished lip: Are out, it's been done...unless they are fucking huge... (see figure 3). Buying black wheels with a machined or polished lip is a sign that you are doing it because you saw it somewhere else and feel that black wheels might be mistaken for steelies... Anyways, everyone is welcome to do whatever they want... but i will say this. 3 years ago silver wheels were outcast... now they are back. Truth be told, fuck the color of a wheel: just don't roll on something that is gravity cast.... buy modular or buy mono-block, or get out. GSXRAntwon
Thanks for the comment.... I am not going to put a huge lip wheel on the car or put gold wheels on it. We are dealing with 2 different breeds of cars, imports and domestics. Though I love both, and I see where ur coming from, I prefer the more subtle stock wheel black. When I hit the lottery though, a set of CCW's will be purchased.

Diamonds
how much are they a piece? you have to expect to pay 500-900 a piece for something that is modular (or a 1 piece monoblock) Those Black (with silver lip) work meister's retail for about 3700 a set (in that size)... i however got them used for far less. sidebar/shameless plug - every wheel i posted sells (brand new market value) for above the 3,000.00 mark (cept for the 57pro's)... but i bougth each set used, for far less... and i can help others out too!!! (mostly japanese bolt patterns though, sorry antwon)
zeitgeist57
I really like the look! Looking at others' posts, my comments: -Definitely clear/black out the side markers. Black out the taillights also. -Clear out the DRL/Indicators in the headlight cluster if possible. -Don't black out the mirrors. -Lose the chrome exhaust tips if possible. Two big "loudmouth" style pipes blacked out would look great. -Smoked License plate covers...or would that be a little ricey? -Anything else to make the exterior either totally white/clear or black. I don't think it's "Murdered Out", though one could make the argument seeing as how many other cultures in the world use the color white to symbolize death. Black is used in Western cultures such as our own. I do think it looks surprisingly menacing, though. I still don't know why I haven't blacked out my front/rear lenses. My windows are already 5%... If you are trying to stay away from an import-tuner look, I wouldn't reccomend them.

The red stripe has been done on domestics time and time again.....it really doesnt matter...I'm picking up some 18x10.5 Z06 replicas anyways.... SpaceGhost
No those were on the tires, called "red line tires" on muscle cars. Matchbox or Hot Wheels cars has a line of them that are very collectible and rare.
