Sparky
GM didn't drop the ball being they'll offer a stick for the Camaro. All the Challengers this 1st production year (at least) are automatics, sticks aren't even an option. I'm pretty sure on this, but could be wrong. Just read in motor trend i think that the first model year will only be automatic SRT's. Next model year will get the first manuals and lesser engine models (3.5, 5.7 ect.) old dirty bastard
Looks good, but the orange is tacky. Auto trans and 4200lbs( ) is deal killer. Mopar are known for tacky colors. I wish I had the coin laying around I could careless about the weight of that car I would rock it.
Limitedslip7
Hideous :barf: 4200 lbs... of shit. Why make it so damn heavy? It doesn't even have to lug a shitloat of crazy gadgetry like the GT-R. Oh well, just makes it easier to bust that ass...
GSXRAntwon
Dodge IMO blow balls. The cars are soo cheap looking and the interior looks like shit with all the cheap plastic.

Duff1647545513
There's one just like that here in London. They've had it for 3 weeks, still not sold.....i dont think. It's been sittin outside on nice days for awhile.
Tshensley
From my understanding dealerships, arent going to sell the only one they have. They want to have one on the lot all the time, so when the second one arrives they can sell it or the first they received as long as is there. Rob1647545496
it has the same HP to weight ratio as an 02 z06 if you took 80HP away from the z06. and thats pretty close to the same HP to weight as a stock F-body.
TTQ B4U
sad thing is there are dumb people with money who will eventually bite. 31rx7
My $.02: - I like it a lot and would love to have one, but at the money they want there are lots of alternatives I would consider. - At the current weight they really are pigs. There is no excuse for an impractical street car to be over 3500 lbs., even a pony car. Fast and sexy yes, but a pig nonetheless. I long for a light, quick, car that handles. Like the Lotus Elise. But then I am more of a sports car guy, so I guess it's a matter of taste. - GM did miss the target yet again. First, the retro Mustang. Then Chrysler with the Challenger. Who is in third? The new Camaro will have to be so much better than the other two in order to attract any attention at all. My bet is the only folks that buy them will be the die hard GM fans and guys my age that miss the Camaro they had in college. Of course, if any of the Detroit car makers had it together at all, they would realize they need to be innovative for a change and really do something to make enthusiasts interested in their products. Skinner
Pig. I'm going to laugh my ass off when the Camaro comes back out and weighs just as much.
Mr. Jones
I'm going to laugh my ass off when the Camaro comes back out and weighs just as much. Fast Foward: Ha! the new camaro only weighs 4196.
Mallard
I'm going to laugh my ass off when the Camaro comes back out and weighs just as much. The new Camaro is a MUCH smaller car than the Challenger. It will no doubt weight less. *(I'm probably the only one on this forum that has had both parked side-by-side, sat in both, and driven every configuration of Challenger)
Draco-REX
So, how long before the first Challenger Daytona/Plymouth Superbird body kit?
Nitrousbird
I'm going to laugh my ass off when the Camaro comes back out and weighs just as much. Then I'll call it a pig too. Somehow it is okay for the Challenger to weigh 4200 lbs, but people couldn't handle the GTO weighing 3800.

Vander
Sexy car. I dont understand how the fuel cap is redneck though. That is how they looked in the 60s and 70s on most Mopars. Because it says 'fuel' on it! lol
