87GT
Check out what I drove my wife around in on the Vegas strip. 1. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r250/trowabarton420/las%20vegas/DSCN1890.jpg 2. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r250/trowabarton420/las%20vegas/DSCN1888.jpg 3. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r250/trowabarton420/las%20vegas/DSCN1887.jpg 4. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r250/trowabarton420/las%20vegas/DSCN1885.jpg 5. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r250/trowabarton420/las%20vegas/DSCN1893.jpg 6. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r250/trowabarton420/las%20vegas/DSCN1901.jpg 7. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r250/trowabarton420/las%20vegas/DSCN1892.jpg 8. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r250/trowabarton420/las%20vegas/DSCN1903.jpg
Doug1647545489
So how slow was it? I wouldn't mind picking up a later model 348 ts, but they seem like they would be pretty slow.
87GT
Couldn't open it up that much because there was too much traffic. Even on the highway it was packed. It took off very well for an 8 cylinder made in 93 from a dead stop. The gearbox was pretty hard to shift into any gear. I didn't hit over 80 mph in it. I would buy one if I could afford it. They are one of the cheapest Ferrari's you can buy right now. Only mid $40s for one in decent shape.

Yeah but add that in with repair cost plus insurance is more $$$$
ImUrOBGYN
Nice but are you freakin kidding me?! There are some great places just outside Vegas to open that thing up on! I've mentioned I've lived there before. You're driving a Ferrari. It would have been worth it to get my number and call and ask!

87GT
That shifter needs to be longer Yeah it was difficult. Getting the E-Brake off took me 5 minutes. You need a PHD to know how to turn it off
Nitrousbird
My wife and I spoke about going to Vegas next year, and one of my requirements was to rent a Ferrari and take a trip to Hoover Dam. I'd be happy with a 348 or 355 Targa or Spyder. But I've always wanted to try out a Lotus Elise too, and the rental price is a lot nicer. Next time I go I will call you for sure. You dont need to be Vegas Savy to find open roads. Its is the Desert remember. Just get to a brub, like Henderson or such, get off, drive 5 minutes, and have fun. Cool either way.
AngryBMW
haha, when I was in vegas I distinctly remember seeing that car on the strip with a huge sign saying "Rent Me". Glad to see you enjoyed it. -Marc
boosted98gst
Hopfully you had fun and enjoyed vegas, but that car needs a serious wet sand and buff.

That isn't included in the rental fees. Outrun is such an awesome game. I used to play the arcade one that had an actual seat and pedals on the floor. When you turned the car the whole arcade cabinet turned with you. Lots of quarters went from my pocket to that game!
