Radio Flyer1647545514
When do these start back up again. I've been looking into riding as a fun thing to do, as well as saving money for gas for driving to and from school next year. I don't really want to miss the sign up for these classes again. Link or anything? Thank you.
Mitch
http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/ Registration begins Feb 2, 2009
KillJoy
Ohio BMV? I know they fill up fast. I signed up in Feb for an Oct Class, when I did mine a few years back. KillJoy
Radio Flyer1647545514
Thank you. Are these classes extremely helpful? I've never ridden anything. Quad, dirtbike, nothing, but a friend said I should not have to much trouble as I've only driven cars that are manual.
Bahnstoermer1647545488
I think the class is great for first time riders - they had more than one girl there who had never ridden before, and I don't think anyone went down. Mitch
Totally worth it to avoid the license exam. I really liked the class.
dragknee66
Its worth the exam for sure. I would take it yes.
Vulcan900
Agreed 100%. Great way for a beginner to decide if they really want to ride a motorcycle.

kenny
Thanks for all the good answers. Hopefully I register in time to get into the classes. If you don't get in, just show up the day of the class. A lot of time people are no shows and you can get in anyway, as long as you were the first in line. Vulcan900
^^ See post above. ^^ If not, just find out the schedule for the classes, and do the walk in thing. They lotto off spots from people who do not show up. I got in the class the 2nd time. We actually had more people show up for the lottery than had actually scheduled the class. kenny
One of the things that most likely contributed to me still being here and not in a box. Take it. Speaking of... Know that riding a motorcycle means you WILL crash at some point. There is no if, or maybe - you will, it's only a matter of time. Buy good gear and wear it. Don't be a squid douche. Radio Flyer1647545514
What exactly is a squid douche? Never heard of that before. What do you suggest? All leathers?
kenny
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=squid Good helmet, leather gloves (thick), leather jacket, riding boots (not just heavy work boots, that's a good way to end up with a rod in your leg - ask me how I know). That's my normal gear, even when it's hot as balls.
