Completely agreed - the masses in this city lose their minds in the face of any precipitation.

"Wait, is that rain? IS IT?!? OMFG MY FACE IS ON FIRE AND I WILL PUT IT OUT MY TURNING IMMEDIATELY LEFT INTO THIS MEDIAN TO PUT OUT MY FLAMING FACE!!!!!!1!!!!!"

working from home the entire week FTMFW

High enough on the food chain that I can stay home ftmfw!

I had to use 4 wheel drive to get my car into my driveway just to have it slide back into the street. I had fun for like 20 minutes with that.. as a matter of fact I think I'm about to try it out with the TA and the stratus to see which one handles the best. :p

Freaked me out the first time my Trailblazer started sliding down my driveway. Had the basement finished Feb of 02, snowed like every freaking day. Garage packed...cars in driveway.

Came home from work, parked the truck, walked out to get the mail and you know what a freshly shoveled Asphalt driveway is like....an ice rink.....truck slid about 10ft total before I could get in it. Thought ti was gong to hit street as someone drove by.

It's one of two things, most often:

1. They drive slower than they need to and in the wrong lane.

2. They drive way too fast and you see them in the ditch a few miles down the road.

I've learned that when I'm going to slow down on the highway in crappy weather, I tap my brakes a few times, so the people behind me will see that they might want to think about slowing down as well. If I do that early enough, it wakes them up and they slow down too. And I can't stand people that tailgate in crappy weather...
