Returning this summer.....

Well you all know that my shit is broke, but I really am working on fixing it. I was unemployed until right before Christmas so everything got put on hold for a while. So while 2008 was a big rollercoaster for my family and I, we did accomplish many things on the car. 2008 started by having my trans rebuilt by a friend of mine and that's when the stall went in. I already had the cam in it, but that's really when the car took off. It then started over powering the stock diff and spinning one wheel, so a set of gears and locker went in. Shortly there after I tied the frame and upgraded the rear suspention pieces.

Later in the year came headers and the fucking overly addictive nitrous set-up. Everyone knows what happened next. So just a reminder.........

So after spending alot time thinking about it. I still had no way to pay for shit, but thanks to Wonderboy for helping find me a job I am about halfway through stage one already, planning and saving.

I have decided on getting a LS* from **** performance, and just swapping my cam and such in it. While it won't have forged stuff in it, that'll do 2 things for me, keep cost down and keep me from getting carried away again. This will be very reliable and faster then it was before. We'll see what other parts find their way into this project, but for now I'll finish stage one.

and thanks to my wife this won't take long

Notice how the last engine on the stand was painted blue? ford blue? I think I'll have to put the classic Chevy orange on this.

So today (3-5-09) I bought a cam, and found out that my block and crank should be fine. Next week I should be buying pistons, and soon after rods. This thing is going to be awesome as it's going together with everything I wanted. Edited by Cordell
to post what I'm really doing, suckers.

Not much, but it will take care of the blower heat soak issues. I'm not focusing on adding more power this year, but more traction.
