Mike_Shepard
Im thinking about buying a 87 Kawasaki LTD 454 for 450 runs and is kinda clean but it has a rod knocking at the door, I would like to see what it's going to cost to fix it before I commit to buying it.. Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?
Stallion Motorsports1647545491
engine teardown and rebuild is just like a car. it gets very expensive. i know it is a cheap bike, however you are buying something that is $450+cost of repair. will that bike ever be worth more than what you have in it. stay away imo. tom

31rx7
Agreed. Unless you have a cheap used engine to throw into it and can do the work yourself, stay away. You can get a decent starter bike that you can ride and check out before buying for what you will have in this one.
