Decided I'd take a few snapshots of the handguns. I've been carrying the USPc regularly now and I find it pretty comfortable.

Looks like he painted them to me. You can see there's a white fog around the lettering. Rub it off with some paint thinner or mineral oil.

 

 

Yeah I painted them myself. I need to get some mineral oil to clean it up a little bit still. It doesn't look as bad in the pictures than in real life. You can hardly tell there's some left over on the slide when holding it.

 

I traded my wife's engagement ring for the USPc. I think brand new they are around $800.

take a sponge with the scratchy green side, and a tiny dab of soap, and it will work better. thinner or mineral oil will get in there and take the paint off with ease. the soap/sponge will only take off what your scrubbing, and it shouldnt fit in the lettering.

 

ive got pics around here somewhere of my M&P, another guys, and i did Putty's. maybe he'll chime in about how its holding up. mine ive had 0 problems, and its been about 1.5 years
