Hey, my name's Eric, I know quite a few of you from some meets since I usually go every Friday and Sat nights, friends with a few people on here including Doc, Mark, met a few others today on Saturday at Doc's Garage and at Robs. I am also a current member on Club3g.com and OhioHondas.com. Joining this site to meet some more cool people and learn some more about other cars.

I currently work at Cardinal Health as a SAP Analyst, have to admit it is a boring job. But pays alright so I can deal with it. Recently graduated from DeVry with a Bachelors in Network and Communications Management and have my MCSA, A+, and Net+ along with a few other Microsoft Certs. I also own a company which I started last year called Storm Front IT Services, allowing me to do side work legit as well as tax write-offs.

I currently have a 3G Eclipse which last dyno'd stock last year at slowmo was at 175hp 174tq, the only thing I have done since is an AEM v2 Intake, SPEC Stage 2 Clutch, and a Fidanza Flywheel.

Currently have plans to get a 6G74 3.5L then bore it to a 3.8L and swap some parts from a 6G75. Maybe go to the 4.0L stoker but I am still debating that one.

Here are a few pics, these are of the exterior as under the hood there's nothing unless you really want to see a intake.

Yeah, he already knows enough people to get him in. Maybe I should just give him plus rep and let him in tonight.

Hell, just give him 13 green bars, put senior member under his name, make him a mod then wake up and make him an admin in the morning. :p Never was a fan of that body style , nor do I know anyone who has ever owned one. Are they layed out decently inside?

With the exception of the terrible placement of my cup holder its great, all black leather, black dash, black carpet, seats are also comfy. I tell you what though, put a large soda from anywhere in that thing, and shifting is a real bitch. Ill take a pic if you want tomorrow of it...worst design I had ever seen.

same as when I had my 2g. I hated getting in and out of it. How is it in yours? I am only 5'9-10" on a good day. But I sold it because I just hated getting in and out of it.

Well the 6G74 is a direct bolt in swap, only thing really to worry about is the battery. Did some pricing 6G74 with about 20,000 miles on it here in Columbus is $550. Found a few in SC for $250 with 60k on it. No one buys that motor so its cheap as can be. Actually Universal Auto Parts & Salvage had 13 of them. Most people I have seen on the forums at club3g haven't been doing the swaps until 2008 while Tearstone found an easier way to do the swaps without using parts from the 6G72. The 3.5 should have been put in the eclipse in the first place. Its not all about speed for me, got myself an AVIC-90bt, apline speakers alpine sub, and an interior not falling apart. In my opinion when a motor is that cheap that bolts right in, that's fine by me.

After I do what I can do to the 6G74, ill probably go with a RIPP SDS Stage 3, or am hoping anyways. For a RIPP SDS Stage 3 its about $4500. To go Turbo on the V6 is expensive as well. No one makes the v6 Turbo kits and the only ones you find are pieced together or have been around for a while, you would also need to make or get custom piping for the turbo as well, even then you see them for about $5300 dollars, that's whats been seen on Club3g anyways
