Guest fist302
Wow epic fail, thats what you get for keeping your life savings of over a million dollars under your fucking bed. How can someone that stupid even accumulate a million dollars?

How can someone that stupid even accumulate a million dollars? Old school shit man. Family rumor is my Grandfathers house likely had money tucked away in spots we never found. I remember my father going through the loose stones in the basement (Very old house) and through the attic and drop ceiling with my uncle when they were cleaning the home. They did find several coffee cans of money wadded up. Even a wine Barrel that yielded over $10k. I was kid back then, but we still talk about it. He even went through an open house there a few years back, some 25+ years later and snooped around some of the rooms including the basement

xlr8tn
If I worked at a trash dump and found a million dollars... i would not give that shit back.... the problem is over there if/when you get caught they start lopping off body parts and shit like that. i guess my question is, how do you now know your mom has $1m in her mattress? this is what I kept thinking when I read the story earlier. Must be a trustworthy daughter huh?

TTQ B4U
Must be a trustworthy daughter huh? Come on if someone stashed $1M in a mattress, the entry point has to be visible and would show so as you're moving it, no doubt would be seen. Also as you're moving it, I'm sure you'd notice the weight of all that paper. Me thinks she knew about it, stashed the money for herself and tossed the mattress and is lying/I'm mean laughing, all the way to the bank. "If" the money "was found" by someone else, you know damn well word would get out. My money is on the daughter to have stolen it from her mother. Israel doesn't roll like that. It's a country who's populace is overwealminly immigrant, people from westernised countries who moved there. I think a lot of people who lived through the great depression roll that way... can't trust the banks.
