Cordell
Would love to find an older Chevelle, EL Camino, or Malibu. Realisticly you could almost get into an LS1 car for 5-6k, but LT1s are a dime a dozen and suck. 80s G-body, something I can put in primer and go old school with a big block. 2 Sweet
'97+ Grand Prix GTP, '85-'87 Monte Carlo SS, or a really nice '91-'92 Z28. Just to name a few

Doc1647545523
I like mustangs, camaros, old toyotas like TE7two had/has, old nissans, chevelles, old suburbans etc.... TE7two ...... now there's a blast from the past. I miss having him around here; he was such an easy target. I heard he was a victim of a freak oil cooler accident. How apropos. Wherever you are, TE7two, I hope you're killing it.
Scotty2Hotty
all the cars around for 5k and you go with a stang over a buick? Fail Of course if I could get a running Turbo Buick, it would be no question, but in all reality, you won't find a running GN/T-type for that $$$$$. I know of one myself............. Veritas
93 brilliant black mazda rx-7. If you were handy, you could buy a shell in solid condition for around 3k(including the bits and pieces you never think about), have a spry motor built for about 2k and be out the door with it. Anything else I personally would want costs more than that still.

cinergi
Did not fish around to see if anyone posted, but Celica Alltracs for what they are at price point-wise make an awesome ride!
Buckeye1647545503
only thing I can think of that has not been said is a e30 bmw maybe a m3 haven't looked at prices in a while
Aaron
I highly doubt you can get an E30 M3 for that price. 14500 for an 89 with 140k miles. lol They are pricier than the comparable mileage E36 and the mint ones are going for over 35k. Buckeye1647545503
ok fine but the 325is is still a real fun car Es has 8 1/2:1 comp and they make a bolt on turbo pipe for it

I had one and it wasn't as sweet as I thought they'd be. I only kept it about 3 months, no problems with it. They are just very heavy and not so agile. Although I was used to a lowered 2200lb AE86. I'd love a TE72 wagon as well.
CRed05
Does $5995 count? If so S4 http://columbus.craigslist.org/ctd/1271312406.html If not Coupe Quattro http://www.motorgeek.com/phpBB2/gallery2/d/68175-2/dscf2972gw9.jpg Or maybe I can find a 3000gt vr4 for 5k but if all else fails, DSM
Mark1647545493
I would get a Porsche 928 You know you could drive this one away for $5000 http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1271177392.html or http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/1292361760.html and if I couldn't find a nice enough 928 I would prolly just settle for this..... http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/1276241235.html

THIS 2001 S4 WAS A RECENT TRADE. CURRENTLY THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING BUT NOT DRIVEABLE. IT DOES NOT HAVE COMPRESSION IN AT LEAST ONE CYLINDER THEREFORE WE ARE SELLING AS-IS FOR PARTS/REPAIR ONLY. But it does look like a good deal. Get it for 4k, then rebuild an engine for it. I do like those coupe quattros. All high mileage versions that I have found for WELL under 5k. It was neat because I always loved that body style and it was quite unique at the time. I will agree it wasn't as nimble as I had wished, but it was fun.
