wnaplay1647545503
How do these work? Do they automatically update with new streets or do you need to download them, or buy something else? Thanks
JonnyNashville
I am unsure of how the updates work. You could look around on Garmin's website or give Best Buy a call. I don't have time at the moment. FYI, this device is only a few months old so, currently, all maps are up to date. Jackson, I didn't receive a PM? Slimpsy1647545505
You can update through an SD card on most units or even through usb on the newer garmin's. Very easy and straight forward. Good thing about Garmin is most models (if not all) come with lifetime free map updates.
JonnyNashville
Thanks for chiming in. The GPS unit is still available!
Drewhop
I updated mine using a PS3 charge wire hooked from the Garmin to the computer. I have the Nuvi 205w and it is awesome. Good luck with sale.

3.1cutlass
The 205 does not come with the lifetime map updates. You can update them one time for 69.99 or the lifetime updates for $119.
JonnyNashville
Thanks for the update. I assume all interested parties will verify the above information, but thank you for posting the info. $100 takes it!

Mark1647545493
still firm on $100?
JonnyNashville
Yeah, people have been willing to pay the asking price, but the deal has fallen through multiple times. Also, if someone is unable to come through at $100, I will just keep it.
