I'd be interested in a 4-post also. Cheap, but not going to crush me when I'm under it are pretty much my only two requests.

 

Being able to have it outside would also be cool, but I know for most lifts that's out of the question in Ohio...

well I have been doing tons and tons of research on garagejournal and other car forums to see reviews and it seems like the

both around 1850 with freight to a terminal is the best lifts for the money and size. I have a 3 car garage with a little over 11ft ceilings so there are actually a few options, just has to be a 4 post. Just wondering if I could find a nice used lift for a little less money

Imo, your going to be storing cars/ being under it some times working i wouldn't cheap out. yea it may work but it may fail later on.

1850 is a deal..but how you going to get it home from the terminal? you got a forklift and a truck?

used 4 posts normally do fine. if a chian was to pop, then the locks take over. normally tend not to fail when locked

My buddy has a 4 post in his garage and they just got it off one of the auction sites like listed above for a steal of a deal.

Those were my exact thoughts when I went with Backyard Buddy. They have a good video on their site showing the difference between some lifts on the market.
