Gun value/interest thread

Thinking about selling a few of my guns and wanted to know what some of them are worth, and if there is any interest in them.

1. Ruger New Model Single Six with both cylinders

Its in great shape, and we have put about 200 rounds through it since I got it from my grandpa. It has a few scratches, but nothing major.

2. Colt 38 special Detective Spec (from preliminary online info, $400-$800)

It is in excellent condition, and we have put about 100 rounds through it since I got it from my grandpa.

3. S&W 5906

It is in great shape, and was my main range gun. We have put about 500 rounds through it since acquiring it. The only wear I found is pictured.

Just looking for value, and any interest. I priced their values about a year ago, but it was at NASR but had no intention of selling them then, and I can't remember what they said either.

thanks guys.

My brother has a S&W 5906, he tried to sell it to the Powder room, i THINK they offered him somewhere around 250-270$ price range. I think you could definitly get more though, maybe 350-400?

You can always call vendors like the powder room about their cosignment if your interested. They can tell you if they have similar models or the same model and what their priced at so you can price yours accordingly.

I might be interested in the 38 special if you are indeed selling.

Sorry guys, I got distracted last night and never came back to the computer.

I am on my 3rd day of my new job, and its been a major change from part time work for my whole life!!! 8:30-5:30 5 days a week lol. I still am not used to the schedule, so I appologize for the lack of responses.

Give me an hour and I will have all 3 values.

I found them (5906) online going for 350-500 depending on condition.

EAXTLY! Good luck getting $650 for that colt, im just going to watch gun broker and pick one up for between 250-350. I have several links from guns that sold for that btw. And you may be able to get $650 for it, but it would need to be a 1960 or older with the longer handle. That gun is like a gibson les paul no one cares about the 70's the early 60's and older are where its at!

Feel free to do just that. If you can provide me with proof of the same condition gun going for 300, then your claims hold water. The only ones I have seen sell for less than 400 are super rough ones.

Hell, all of the ones that are in as good of shape as mine, or NIB, sell for 600-1000.

Not a big deal to me, I love the Colt.
