Single Turbo (Not twin turbo :) )

Back in 2008 my friend Brad purchased a new 2007 Hayabusa. The bike was ridden for 1,100 miles and then went under the knife for a custom turbo kit. The kit is designed to fit behind all of the stock body work with the air filter removed. With less then 30 miles on the speedo the bike made 148 rwhp. At 5 psi the bike made 226 rwhp and 137 rwtq. I swear if he wanted to sell this bike tomorrow I would write a check for it. No corners have been taken with this beautiful turbo install.

The body work will be going back on the bike and an exhaust will be going in place. We are debating about switching over to E85 and adding a little more boost. Only thing we are unsure of is where the stock short block will give up the ghost.

OK, I would like to ask a question.

First off I know nothing of bikes so bare with me.

With an experienced rider how quick would it run in the 1/4 mile ?

I would think somewhere in the low 9's

little chris goes 9.0's on stock 1000's. This bike would go straight into the mid to high 8's with an experienced rider.

Ask Jon Shrek, he used to build all kinds of Hyabusa engines.
