Changing oil on a dirt bike?

How often should you change the oil on a dirt bike? It's a 92 YZ125 if that matters.

Um its a two stroke so i hope you know your talking about gear oil and it dont need it very often maybe once a year depending on how often u ride

i was talking about a 2 stroke also...they take so little gear oil, theres no reason to not change it often...it takes all of 5 minutes and hardly any oil

 

to clarify though, mine didnt get ridden often...but i would change it every 6 months minimum

 

they take 650ccs, which is like .7 quarts

I try to change mine every other race/track day on the 2 smoke. Of course I dont ride it very hard
