Well the time has come and I made the hard decision to sell my 2006 Suzuki Hayabusa. The bike is in great condition and only has 5,922 miles. Everything on the bike is stock except for the slip-on Yoshimura pipes. I have the rear seat and grab bar that will come with the bike. The oil has been changed 3 times since I purchased it brand new and will include the supplies for another oil change. There are a few misc supplies like fuel stabilizer and chain lubes that I will include. I do still have a small loan on the bike so completing the sale we will have to go through a couple of extra steps to get the title in your name. Price is $7,500 obo.

Forgot to mention I put a new battery in about 3 months ago. I will also throw in the battery tender, HJC helmet, AlpineStar gloves, Tour Master jacket, and a Joe Rocket jacket I used for cold weather. Edited by 06busa

Ever been down? Any issues whatsoever? Mechanically, cosmetically, etc? I have a friend looking for one, but he's looking to spend closer to $6k...PM me for his contact info if this may be something you're interested in.

Hey nice looking bike. Just wanted to give you a friendly tip if it doesn't sell....don't worry about renewing your tags. There is no late penalty for seasonal vehicles. So as long as you aren't riding it just let it sell through the winter and renew in the spring if you still have it.

Hopefully its sold for you though! Good luck!

That's not what the F'ers at the BMV told me the last time I asked about this a few months ago... double check, go with whoever gives you the least democratic tax scamming based answer...

It's true. I did not have to pay a penalty for my bike or my boat trailer. It was two different BMV's too. The bike was at the Bethel/Hayden location and the boat trailer was at the Lewis Center 23 location.

I didn't even have to fight for it. They just asked if I had used them at all since they expired. I told them no, which was true, and they renewed them and waived the fee. Try a different location next time.

I have never heard of this fee and go years between renewing all the toys. Everything from the boats, jetskis, bike and campers.

It was new.....last year, I think. If you are 7 days late renewing your tags, it is an extra 20 dollars, if I am remembering the specifics correctly. They made it exclude seasonal vehicles. It even says it on the BMV's website. However, not all the BMV's got this memo. Over on OR alot of people were having trouble with it. I went in ready to battle when I did my tags, but got lucky I guess....they must have got the memo.
