Big Steve
Yeah dude has been out for awhile. He is legit & got respect in NY as well. He was spitting for WU-Tang and they made it official. Look further into it and you will see. He is still rough around the edges but he is getting better and better! DaddyBuiltRacing
Im not a big fan of Yelawolf honestly. I listened to his song "pop the trunk" and was like, this dude got signed by eminem?
Brendon
I was pretty impressed, actually. There's been a lot of comparison between him and Eminem, from what I have seen online.
evan9381
yelawolf opened for wiz khalifa in september at the newport, and i thought he put on a better show than wiz, even there i was only there to see wiz...i downloaded a bunch of his music and am thoroughly impressed. Yelawolf is getting pretty popular. He recently made a song with Gucci Mane, and he was on the MTV2 Sucker Free Countdown last night too. Wiz is also pretty good. Brendon
wiz's non radio shit is good...black and yellow is whack. Agreed. The stuff on his mixtapes are usually pretty good. Mainstream = Over-rated.
RC K9
they're both white. duh. lol Ahh that's right. He IS white! How did I not see that. So this is now the White Rapper thread? Because it's truly nuts when someone who is white can flow.
DaddyBuiltRacing
That yelawulf song with gucci mane is terrible as well. Again I have tried listening to the dude to see what everyone else is seeing in him and I just cant find it.

zeitgeist57
Bringing this back from the dead... I'm not into the hip-hop scene, but I was just in Cleveland and Machine Gun Kelly is pretty damn popular. He had two shows that were sold out and a couple of the radio stations were hyping him up a lot, even though he doesn't have a top 40 hit yet??? I was surprised to hear so much air time devoted to the guy...
morabu
he either was hear just a couple days ago, or is going to be back in a couple weeks, i remember hearing something on 107-5 last week.

Jizzle Juice
Yelawolf is ALOT better than the mainstream stuff. MGK is nice rapping fast but cant rap slow. And i heard he signed with diddy
V8 Beast
Yelawolf sounds like a wanna be bizzybone
DaddyBuiltRacing
Yelawolf is terrible, he's a poor mans version of Kid Rock lol. Also the signing with Diddy is just a rumor. MGK said "If I signed they must've sent my check to another address cause I'm still waiting to see the paper. I'll be the first to let you all know when I sign" I think he can rap pretty decent even when doing it slow. Listen to "Long way home", thats prob my fav MGK song and its a slower one...Dude is definitley getting a lot of love like previously mentioned. I think it would be pretty cool if he blew up and became big. What else has Cleveland had to root for in the last 20 years?
zeitgeist57
What else has Cleveland had to root for in the last 20 years? I thought Bone Thugs did a great job representing Cleveland.
