KD93R1
KD93R1---can you post of shot of your engine ? First to Cordell, nice lookin Camaro. I like your hood/front end. I think those models look nice white, especially when theyre clean as hell like yours. Cherry, heres a couple of engine pics as it looks now. http://i1039.photobucket.com/albums/a473/KD93R1PB/AAA-RX7%20Underhood%20pics/0026.jpg http://i1039.photobucket.com/albums/a473/KD93R1PB/AAA-RX7%20Underhood%20pics/002-13.jpg Edited February 20, 2011 by KD93R1 Moved pics by accident. KD93R1
You forgot to paint your hood. You mean my hood right? Yeah I've been thinkin about that, what color do you think would be nice. I was wondering if there was a spray paint I could get that would make it look like carbon fiber?;)lol. What can we look foward to w/the bird this spring, anything new? Do you or any of the guys ever go to the Cols. Motor Speedway on Saturday night & watch the races? I would like to maybe get to meet some of the CR fellas somehow, like a hang out or something?????

I once dropped a 383 in a 1985 Monte Carlo SS. It was built by Bob Profit. Later my uncle decided to go with ROSS POP UP PISTONS (14.5:1). It was pretty powerfull. Didnt like it when you got on the brakes to stop though. Good luck w/that. Kevin

Twistedrx7
Kevin i hate to say it but that hood needs replaced. the fitment is horrible where did you get it?
Yasser-Hanbali
i wouldnt say horrible fitment, the front has a larger gap which could be closed up but other than that the hood fits fine. hood to fender gap is equal on both sides. KD93R1
Kevin i hate to say it but that hood needs replaced. the fitment is horrible where did you get it? Funny you say that. I was lookin at those new pics and I noticed the gap between the nose and the hood. However, in real life I dont seem to notice it really. Though it seems maybe Yasser has, I dont know. For the record, the gaps are pretty consistent. The hood is a Siebon, and seemed to mount up w/no problems. I only changed hoods because I needed the vents & didnt want to cut up the OEM R1 hood. I personally dont like the carbon fiber look but it has grown on me and I'm real happy w/this hood. I am gonna investigate maybe moving it a little closer to the nose, but I'm thinkin it will be to close to the headlight covers then. Maybe they can move foward too. Food for thought.lol. Twistedrx7
i might have jumped the gun on saying hideous. It looks like the gap is more towards the front nose. maybe the bumper is sagging and be pulled close. otherwise looks good. you should have come out to cars and coffee it was a good time
Yasser-Hanbali
in person Kevin's car looks fine. as Jake said it could be bumper sag due to the age of FD's. but once we get good pictures of his car that should be no issue. I would like to try and be a little more social w/the car stuff. So I can just show up at one of those. I wasnt sure if you needed a co-signer or special invite?
