Got a new motor today

96 Tree fifty vortec motor out of a van. Gonna pull it all apart tomorrow and power wash everything and paint it. What cam should I go with in this thing to get decent power outta it. Also the motor was free.

Just clean the heads up alil. A good roller cam and intake and carb. Add some good valve train parts to let it rev alil higher and match it up with a 23* pitch prop and see how it does.

Sam I went out and looked today. I found my heads and I found a couple cams but I havent found the intake yet. I have moved so much stuff around. I will keep looking. How soon are you wanting something?

Whenever you can get to it. I took my crank over to fowler to get cleaned up so it might be a week or two before I get it back. What are the specs on those cams you got? You got any good springs to go with them?
