I wasn't planing on buying a car today

Went to look at a car that a guy from work told me about, said it lookd nice and it was a Crown vic.

 

2004 Crown Vic LX Sport (essentially a police car with a stereo and nice rims)

owned by a 70+ year old couple,

28k miles on it.

$8500 and i'm trilled about it, it's practically new!

yeah going to the track for a baseline soon, probibly a 15.7 ish

BWwwwaaaahhahahahahah! I am seriously thinking about removing the chrome & thowing a little tint on it.

I'm looking at this as an obese mustang, so as slow as it may be i will be taking it to the track and modding it.

 

i have to admit, i think the SC 3800 pull a little harder stock but these eat any road bumps like a fat chick following a skittles trail.

FWIW, I came across a magazine on the news stand at Kroger the other day that featured a blown Marauder with narrowed stock wheels up front and a cage you may wanna check out. Maybe Popular Hot Rodding?

thanks guys. I was going to try to jew the guy down a bit more but after finding out what the car was worth and the old guy had had 2 strokes recently I couldn't feel right playing hardball negotiator. The owner is a retired manager from the ford plant, in lima i think, and he takes good care of his fords lol.

My buddy had a 03 lx sport. He put an exhaust on it and it was a pretty awesome ride.

Comfy . he ran a 16.3 at a CR Track day in it.
