Waitress Added Tip to My Bill

For future reference people, on the tip line write a 0 with a \ through it. That means nothing!!!! Or you paid in cash. If you leave it blank it is assumed that you want the 15-18% added to your bill.

Common sense.

Who is that common sense to, shady waiters? It's obvious I'll never go to this place now.

And ill break my ignition cover, call the police and have you arrested for trying to steal my car.

Adding 3 dollars to someones bill, who obviously doesnt know how to properly write up a merchant copy reciept, is not the same as you you breaking into my car and directly stealing my shit that I have no obligation to give you.

Common Sense? Really? That's your final answer? WOW.

Funny, as a server, I never thought it "common sense" to add my own tip to a receipt that was for a patrons meal.

Are you calling that common sense?

Are you saying that if I paid cash the server has right to add her own tip? 15-18%? What's common sense for them to add, 15%, 16%, 17% or 18% ? Really dude are you that dumb?

I vote 2 day ban for stupidity.

Im curious as to if you always snap pictures of your reciepts, I just found that to be a little odd. Cody idk where you learned that "common sense" but having a mom who was a waitress for 15 years, that is not common place my man. I had a waitress at a local chinese buffet wait at our table and demand a tip once. I just walked away and paid at the front counter and told them the situation, they appologized and gave us gift certificates for the next time we came in there. I never saw that waitress again

@alittlelessordinary he took the pic cuz he didn't give a tip, assuming something like this could/would happen.

I've done the same when no tip is left, but I luckily didn't have any extra charges after!

I dunno why you guys are leaving 0 tip when you get bad service. I've always thought it got the point across better to leave a $.01 tip. I've actually had managers stop me on the way out the door and ask what the problem was and usually get a full refund or a gift cert.

I hope you are kidding and are not that dumb as to think credit card fraud is assumed. My gf has waitressed for several years all through college and has never heard of anyone doing that.
