zoom out a bit dude.. ive seen bentley emblems before...

 

yasser is the creative one of the photogs guys. I like his style. Personally I am looking to move more in that direction to expand from my style and working event photography.

 

Few too many closeups, not enough of the actual cars, but thanks.

 

I say the opposite. people need to look at things more closely.

I don't disagree, but there were more of those than the actual vehicles.

 

Clarification before this spirals out of control into some sort of shitstorm: The photos are good, no doubt, just would have liked to see more of the vehicles that were there.

Yasser, thanks for the photos. Who would have thought there'd be so many critics ... :p

 

Granted, I'm biased because it's my car, but where h22 sees a closeup of a Bentley emblem, I see a winged B flying up in the clouds. Look again if you didn't see it (the latter picture). So, to me it's a clever visual pun. We all see things a little differently. I appreciate the talent Yasser has and appreciate that he shared his unique vision. I don't expect someone attending a meet to provide a photo documentary of the event.

creative? no offense to OP but all he did was got close to an emblem and hit a button.....

 

Really? Do you think that's all he/we do is point and push a button?

So are familiar with his composition technique?

Are you familiar with how he set up the DOF where applied? Given that, are you familiar with what is required to do so on his particular camera. (tip - it's not typical).

Are you familar with his processing technique?

Are you famliar with his other work?

Do you know what he does for a living/where he works?

 

This will make for an interesting thread today.....I'm coffee'd up for sure.

Was there a scratch above the front license plate that was touched up with touchup paint on the STi. Pic cuts off right were it would be.

 

I cut it off for the purpose of making the focal point the STI emblem, as having the plate in would draw eyes away from what i wanted in the frame.
