Maybe if you are into bass...I personally prefer trout out of small montain streams and there isn't too much of that here n TX from what i've seen unfortunately...

 

Im not much of a stream person though I did do a bit of that when I lived in Cali and I'm practicing it here.

 

I do love some bass fishing but they also have some of the best crappie and catfish, too. The weather lends itself to some large fish.

 

And lol@ all the 'fisting' people. You guys can still post pics... lol

I'll be posting back by next weekend. Couple buddies and I are heading out to Atlantic City, NJ for a few days and on that trip we're chartering a fishing boat to drink some beer on stay tuned.

We didn't catch as much as we'd have liked, but the trip to Atlantic City had me walk home with $400 more than I arrived with, not to mention we killed a few dozen beers.

 

I thought this little sucker reminded me of a puppy dog. He just sat there in our hands.

The fishing will kick ass right before it hits. Go get you some. Almost every big fish I have ever caught was caught as a huge storm was rolling in.

You let me know. I have noticed a lot of the sunfish/bluegill have moved out a lil deeper. The hot weather is driving them away from the shores. Found a few large ones in about 20 feet of water this past weekend.
