The big river is the Clarion which is great for bass, trout, etc. The smaller streams are great for Brooks, Browns, and Rainbows. Going to the canadian side is usually the best bet now. Sad but true, i remember going up there several times a year and slaying perch/walleye all day long no matter where you fished. Caught a 36" walleye 6 years ago on the canadian side, next fish snapped the line. I got anxious to see how big it was. Who did you charter with and out of what area? Maybe if you are into bass...I personally prefer trout out of small montain streams and there isn't too much of that here n TX from what i've seen unfortunately...
