Whoa. Pretty cool concept, but I fail to see a true advantage over a O/U. Still, from an engineering stand point, it's :fuckyeah:.

I saw some of the discussion when that was previewed at SHOT a couple years back...it is designed to be "legal" for use in a particular European trap and skeet shooting organization. They didn't allow auto-loaders or magazine fed actions for a particular class. Apparently, this is a single-shot shotgun under their rules...the second cartridge is loaded by hand into the hopper/feeder tray, which presents it to the open breech by spring pressure rather than by energy from the previous fired cartridge, so it's not an auto-loader (again, under their rules)...and since the tray isn't enclosed, it's not magazine fed.

All I can say is somebody really READ that rulebook looking for the loopholes, and I rather think that if Smokey Yunick shot trap he'd own one of these.

I was going to say it was a solution to a problem that didn't exist, but I guess this sounds plausible.

the main reason that it has a bit of an advantage over the O/U is that you don't have issues with the MOA changes of the 2 different barrels. There is quite a science in the trap/skeet/sporting clays world. My pops isn't a pro or anything, but a state champ and damn good none the less. you should see the crazy ass rail system he's got on the browning cynergy "unsingle" combo. those guns are just crazy!
