2011SVT
With the Focus ST now delayed until Fall of 2012, I am re-evaluating my 'daily driver' options. I am also raising my sights somewhat from a 4 door, hot hatch, < $30k target to maybe more of a mid size sport/luxury sedan. So, in the running so far: Audi S4 Acura TL BMW 5xx : : Thoughts? RyM3rC
I'd be all over an S4 against those competitors. I wouldn't even put an S4 in the same class as a TL or 5-series honestly, it's just that much better.

Considering the price and the three you listed, I'll assume you're looking used. A Stage 2 Legacy GT or spec.B should be fun and reliable. Also great year-round and can be had with a stick. I'll let someone else come up with the obligatory LSX offerings.
Jewtoys
In the exact same boat as you. I want the Focus ST for a daily, think I'm going to end up with a 10k car to hold me over till it comes out.

PRD2BDF
I know it's not very expensive or as nice but I really like my Saab, I've had good experiences with mine. If you pick up a 9-3 2.8T, you can get about 360 HP from them with a tune. (Up from 250)
