Ddm tuning is a good place to buy cheap hid's. But if hid is out of question I would run silver star ultras. its for my daytime/highbeam bulb so im avoiding hid right now. Definitely NOT for actual use as a high beam though. i think im going to order knock off silverstar type bulbs, everyone says silverstars wear out just as quick as the knockoffs for 40 bucks cheaper a pair. True story, I went through 3 sets of silverstar ultra's in 3 years in the Trailblazer. It uses low beam for daytime running lights so that drains them pretty quick. Let us know which knock-off's you find and like as I'm curious to what you find. I've been using a chepo fleabay $3 set for about a year now but they're just standard yellow-ish/white. zeitgeist57 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Share Posted January 18, 2012 I did CATZ if you remember the early '00s, as well as Silverstars...I would really recommend HIDs for the price you pay for shitty bulbs.
