Popular Post Large
Hello,im obviously new to the site....but not new to fast cars.I've had a built 3000GT VR4 with 19t's,a few BMWs,and in my teenage years small block muscle cars. Right now i have an 89 BMW E30 325iS on coilovers with camber plates and when finished will be a 100% track purpose drift car.The car used to be turbo'd but took it off to increase reliability until i bought a new car.It will be going to Kevin Kreisa at DTR Performance in Florence,KY to be reinforced, caged, and motor swapped to a M50 (E36/E39 inline 6) with a GT35 on the side....as soon as i stop buying parts for this new car i am addicted to. The new car, which i bought a little over a week ago,is a 97 Trans Am WS6 6speed with 72k miles. Current list of parts is K&N in the ram air box,6puck stage 3 clutch,Hurst shifter,MSD,headers, ypipe, borla catback,cc503 cam.I also now have C5 Corvette wheels on the car (pita to fit the rears). The fronts are 17x9.5s and the rears are 18x10.5s. I have 30lb injectors to put in once i get the Edelbrock Performer intake mani,58mm throttle body and LT4 heads. ......but i may just throw money at the E30 to get it ready for drifting this summer,i havent decided yet. http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/7163/20120127140049.jpg http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/6866/20120128155806.jpg http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg842/scaled.php?server=842&filename=20120128160222.jpg&res=medium http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg846/scaled.php?server=846&filename=20120128181249.jpg&res=medium

zeitgeist57
Welcome to the site! As a former LT1 Corvette owner, I would suggest focusing your money on the BMW. That's a nice mod roster for the WS6; I'd stop there.
Richard Cranium
Welcome to the site! As a former LT1 Corvette owner, I would suggest focusing your money on the BMW. That's a nice mod roster for the WS6; I'd stop there. That is a good mod list, I'm not a fan of the Edelbrock manifold or the LT4 heads. You can have the stock manifold ported and powdercoated for less than the edelbrock. If you want heads I would hit up Lloyd Elliot before I would do LT4s. Just my $.02 you didn't ask for.
