Sturg1647545502
So after 5 years of abuse ive cracked my euro 20 spoke wheels enough to warrant a new set of road wheels. I'm running all campy components, so i need to stick with a campy free hub. Im a bigger guy, so what i've been pointed toawrd thus far is #1) Mavic cosmic elite wheel sets with a campy hub for about $490.00 with tax. set weight is about 1900g with skewers. They are durable, semi-areo, big man wheels http://www.mavic.com/sites/default/files/products/zoom/112111.jpg #2) The velocity deep-v aero like wheels with a 36 hole pattern would probably come in a 2000g. Also with a campy hub should be about $440.00 with tax with these you can custom order your wheel colors which would be cool. http://www.velocityusa.com/default.asp?contentID=537 any other sets i should check out? The deciding factors are price and durability.

Trouble Maker
Isn't 2kg for a roadie wheelset kind of heavy?
Sturg1647545502
Isn't 2kg for a roadie wheelset kind of heavy? yup, most race/tri sets are 1300g and below. but these are big man, grind-it-out wheels built for daily abuse. bmwohio
always been a fan of Ksyrium line....SR's would weigh about 500g's less too.....
Sturg1647545502
i looked at both the Ksyrium equipe's and the Ksyriums elite's. The elite's were 2 legit, but out of my price range. the equipe's, while cheaper that the cosmic elite, looked to be less over all value when compared side by side.
