I pulled this off some website while looking for a helmet as well.

Anyone know if you can run M2005,2010... Or does it have to be SA2005, as in NON motorcycle helmet...

Up until this year since mine is expired, they never said a word about my M2000, and I was out there a lot in years past. I really don't think you'll have an issue.

Mine which also expired this year is a m2000 motorcycle helmet, the difference between "m" and "sa" is that "sa" has a fire retardant liner in case you are trapped in a burning vehicle in an accident. Never took it to Trails but always fine at KilKare.

SA can withstand multiple impacts (aka in a rollover) where M helmets only can withstand 1 where the shell is compromised.

Well I went to iron pony and picked up a snell m2010. Hopefully they approve it for racing a car.

Got a link to how much it was? Full face or open face? Btw, my brother remembers you. I guess you bought his stock hood off him a few years back :).
