Lots of LSx guys on here and hopefully someone can help me.

I figured out my oil leak and its coming directly out of the crank, come to find there is supposed to be a cap inside the crank to prevent oil leakage.

Does ANYONE have one or have info on where I can purchase 1 quickly?

*Before I get bashed for not ensuring one was there when I built it:

1-this is my first LSx build

2-a very qualified shop built the motor, I assumed those types of items would've been installed.

Thanks for the help!!

Its gonna be one of those wierd items. It Definately installs like a freeze plug though

Dont buy what you think will work....Find out first. Just buy it from the dealer and do it right the second time.

Yeah. Its one of those "rare and elusive" parts. Maybe Greg will be able to get me one.

Been on google for over an hour now...its official name is a welch plug!

I appreciate the help. The PN was listed in there=AWESOME

Now to locate and hope it works with an eagle crank!

everyone seems to call it a galley plug, I just searched for "LS1 Crank Plug" and went from there. ;-)

Got the builders attention now! I would expect them to come through now.

The help is MUCH appreciated!

If anyone happens to have one I'll be more than happy to come get it though.

Now lets just hope it didn't starve the rods of oil.

Your killin me.

The rods/bearings look good. Nice and smooth-no slop.

Oil pressure stayed up (40+) and I never went below 7.5qts of oil.

I'm good ;)
