GTPSS
Lots of LSx guys on here and hopefully someone can help me. I figured out my oil leak and its coming directly out of the crank, come to find there is supposed to be a cap inside the crank to prevent oil leakage. Does ANYONE have one or have info on where I can purchase 1 quickly? *Before I get bashed for not ensuring one was there when I built it: 1-this is my first LSx build 2-a very qualified shop built the motor, I assumed those types of items would've been installed. Thanks for the help!! Jermeiah Edited May 22, 2012 by GTPSS
MattKatz
It should have been installed. Dealer, or machine/engine shop for that part, I already asked earlier for you.

Rocky31186
At least a universal plug may fit. But you'll need to know exact size.
MattKatz
Dont buy what you think will work....Find out first. Just buy it from the dealer and do it right the second time.

GTPSS
Now lets just hope it didn't starve the rods of oil. Your killin me. The rods/bearings look good. Nice and smooth-no slop. Oil pressure stayed up (40+) and I never went below 7.5qts of oil. I'm good
