edit - considering the rear of the car and door sills both say Evos, I'm not sure this is actually suppose to be a mustang. Either way, it's not a direction I would expect ford to be headed.

I kind of like it. Roof line is a little too high and the wheels are too big. It's a concept so I'm sure it will get tamed down a bit, which in this case would be a good thing. IRS...it's about time.

03-04 Cobras had IRS as well as the 98-02 Cobras.

Honestly looks more like a SHO redesign, or a Cosworth Escort :gabe:

These pictures have been out for months.

I think it looks great but is clearly 100% concept.

Interested to see what they actually do with it, as the current mustang doesnt jive with their new styling of the focus fiesta fusion escape etc.

It says "those in the know" say the production car will still have the round headlights etc....I don't mind that style nose as long as they clean it up but if it looks that close to the Taurus then the Mustang will be dead to the world. Definitely excited to see the final car though, lighter and with IRS!!!

That, and sales have fallen off a cliff. Baby boomers lost interest and the younger generations never really warmed up to the whole retro thing

The Evos is a design concept. Essentially it's not a particular car, but a pure concept that future cars will take design elements from. You can already see these design cues in the new Fusion.

Yup, if you think the new mustang will look like that, you need your head examined.
