Well started to tear what I can apart while the car is in storage...

Injectors look a bit rough.:

And finally fixing the leaking intake manifold:

Thanks to Alex at BP Autosports for taking the time to weld the oil laden plenum back to the cast runners. It wasn't easy but I was happy with how it came out.... don't have to worry about leaks anymore! I will post pics once all the work is done!

Man this thing is going to be a serious car once you get everything together on it and get it to a strip.

What are your goals for it? Low 9s / High 8s or a certain trap speed?

I'd like to just get a clean pass that doesn't bog horribly!

The car built to run, so it will be all up to me to drive it. I know several guys on the forums have capable 6 speed cars and still have yet to crack that 8 second barrier.

Its like hitting a MLB fastball, or running a marathon. Even with all the correct tools, a 8 second 6 speed is very difficult!

My goal is a single digit pass this year. If I do that, I will be happy.

I see collector on your plates, you can register it that way? Doesn't that only require one plate too?

Yes that is correct. It also exempts you from E-check as well if you are in a county that requires it. Other benefits as you mentioned are you are only required to run 1 plate, and you have less strict exhaust requirements.

Also there are no mileage restrictions with these plates

That's pretty cool, I'll have to look more into it if I pick up a Supra
